Gödel's Proof - Ernest Nagel, James R. Newman, Douglas R. Hofstadter Definitely DON'T read this for plot. Must be some kind of post-modernist mumblejumble or something. And the main character, Gödel, is so flat and one-dimensional. Only slightly better than The Hunger Games.
